Christmas Drill – Christmas Tree Pass & Move – A really fun drill to do during the run up to the Festive Season.
Really simple pass and move drill.
Split your players into 2 equal teams.
Mark out some cones in a Christmas Tree shape as above. Alter the number of layers depending on the number of players you have
Both teams start at the top ( But you can have multiple balls at all centre points to keep it flowing)
Aim is to complete 15 balls from top to bottom (Coaches need to be counting to stop cheating)
Each player at the top passes the ball to the next cone, then follows the pass.
Once the ball gets to the bottom the player then must sprint round the outside back to the top to start the next rotation of passes. Without the ball if there are more at the top, or with the ball if they have run out.
A really good fun Christmas Drill that keeps all the players involved.
