Fifa Ultimate Team – Small Sided Game (SSG)
Fifa Ultimate Team is an absolutely Brilliant Small Sided Games Session.
Its constantly evolving and changing depending on the teams results, its fast paced, thrilling & frustrating for the players all at the same time.
The aim of the Game is to get to the Top (4 v 4) and stay there as long as possible. Every game won on the 4 v 4 is a point to each player.
But if your team loses, you move down the ranks.
Fifa Ultimate Team – How it works
Split your players into evenly matched pairs. Mark out 3 ( 4 v 4 and Two Times 2 v 2 ) pitches – Then 4 x 1v1 use cones or mini goals if you have them .
Randomly assign each pair to one of the 7 pitches ( if you don’t have enough players to do the 1v1 games don’t worry )
Once all players on the pitches, this is how it works. Starting from the bottom.
The two winners of the Left 1v1 pitches move up to Left 2 v 2 pitch. The losing pair from the 2 v 2 move down to one of each of the 1 v1 Same applies to the right side
The winner of the Left 2 v 2 moves up to the 4 v 4 as does the winning pair from the right 2 v 2 – These 4 winners now form a new team.
The Losing 4 v 4 team splits out – 2 go down to the left – 2 go down to the right
The winning team on the 4 v 4 all get 1 points assigned to the players.
Each game slot can be as long or short as you like – 90 seconds seems about perfect.
Set a time period for the whole tournament. The ultimate team is the 4 players that have the highest number of points at the end.
Fifa Ultimate Team – Rules
Games are 90 seconds long – 30 seconds for changeover
Pass ins or thrown ins – Freekicks opponent must be 3 yards back
If its a draw – team with most shots wins / or any other way you like to decide it
